CAPTAIN
Milla-Emilia Makela
Milla grew up in the coastal regions of Finland, and from the time she was just an infant, her parents had introduced her to the world of sailing. This early exposure turned into a lifelong passion, and as she grew older, she continued to sail with her father on their H-boat.
Professionally, Milla has had a dedication to social work, finding contentment in roles that have allowed her to support individuals of all ages, from toddlers to the elderly. In the past four years, she turned back to her love of the sea, serving as a Captain in the Mediterranean. She approaches life with a strong work ethic, always striving to turn her passions into reality.
Milla is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She loves hiking and skiing. Her passion for the outdoors led also her to study to become a wilderness guide. Her journey from the Finnish coast to the warm waters of the Caribbean reflects her unwavering dedication to sailing and adventure, as well as her undying love for the sea.

CHEF
Georgie Boxall
Georgie is a Holistic Nutritionist and passionate Private Chef from the UK, who was most recently based in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. She specializes in creating vibrant, nourishing meals that fuel adventure and well-being.
Raised in the English countryside among horses, home-cooked meals, and cozy pub fires, Georgie’s first career began in film and TV -from Sky Sports in London to advertising production in Vancouver. But it was a personal need to heal her gut that sparked a new path. Self-taught in the kitchen, she discovered the power of food as medicine. This journey led her to work with a wellness meal prep company, luxury ski chalets in the French Alps, and eventually into her favourite kitchen yet-the galley.
Over the past year, Georgie has worked as Sole Chef on sailing yachts in the BVI, France, and the Bahamas, creating high-vibe, globally inspired meals tailored to every palate. She’s also catered retreats, bachelorettes, and film crews, always bringing bold flavours, beautiful colours, and a soulful, creative touch to the plate.
Her kitchen secret? She doesn’t follow recipes-she creates, turning food into art. With a flair for sauces, an intuitive sense of flavour, and a background in wellness, Georgie brings warmth, energy, and a deep sense of care to life onboard.
Outside the galley, Georgie is an avid outdoor enthusiast. A skier, surfer, and passionate water lover, she thrives in the elements- whether snorkeling, gravel biking, cold dipping, or guiding yoga sessions on deck. Her bubbly energy and love of connection make guests feel instantly at home, ensuring every charter is as nourishing as it is unforgettable.
