Victor’s expertise spans the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Atlantic, U.S. coasts, and Persian Gulf, giving him extensive experience in diverse maritime environments. His role as captain goes beyond navigation — he has overseen complex operations, including large-scale refits, new builds, and crew management, ensuring optimal performance.
In addition to his leadership at sea, Victor excels in budgeting, technical oversight, and logistics. His leadership skills, combined with his strong technical knowledge and project management abilities, make him an outstanding captain for SOPHIE BLUE, offering a reliable and secure experience for both guests and crew
Job Description
Victor oversees the full spectrum of operations aboard SOPHIE BLUE, ensuring its smooth navigation, safety, and overall management. His responsibilities include coordinating all quotidian activities, adhering to flag regulations, port state and local laws and regulations, and managing the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the sailboat’s policies. He further fosters a collaborative, team-oriented environment, promoting crew cohesion and high morale. His leadership does not just prioritise the well-being of the crew but also places guest satisfaction at the forefront, ensuring an exceptional experience for all on board.
