Repositioning Fees:

Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA): 30% of the charter fee
Crew Gratuity: Customary gratuity ranges from 15–20%, at the discretion of the charterer
Tax Information: Bahamas VAT: 10% / Charter Tax: 4% / VAT and/or local taxes apply based on the cruising area
Hurricane Season Policy: Hurricane season runs from June to November. Charters during this time require a Hurricane Addendum.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management from the prestigious Institut Paul Bocuse and brings her expertise in classic French gastronomy to the tropical flavors of the Caribbean, crafting unforgettable dining experiences.

Born in Montreal to a family passionate about the nautical world, Valérie developed a love for boating at a young age, earning her pleasure craft operator card in Quebec at just 10 years old. With 18 years of experience in the restaurant industry, she cultivated exceptional skills in service, hospitality, and attention to detail.
In 2022, Valérie blended her passion for service with her love of the sea, transitioning to a full-time career as a stewardess and first mate. Since then, she has accumulated hundreds of days at sea, working aboard yachts up to 80 feet across the United States, The Bahamas, and Canada.
Valérie’s dedication to guest comfort and her impeccable attention to detail make her an outstanding stewardess aboard Serenity.
